New features in 2026

The new version of ADAM Manager brings numerous enhancements designed to improve analysis, automate complex operations, and strengthen control over technical content.
Features include an enhanced Analysis module, smarter container management, new automation jobs, and an even smoother user experience.

A more powerful and easier-to-read Analysis module

ADAM Manager has enhanced its Analysis module to offer users greater clarity and control.

Queries can now be:

  • categorised,
  • made visible or hidden via configuration,
  • accompanied by visual indicators to track the status of synchronisation with the database.

A new search facet, based on XQuery queries, also allows results to be refined on DM, Media and PM, in addition to the existing filters.

The result: more accurate analyses and better data readability.

Containers: more automation, less handling

DM container management is undergoing significant changes to improve consistency and efficiency.

The interface has been redesigned to allow separate container configurations and target projects to be defined. It is now possible to create multiple generation configurations and automatically update containers from solution DMs using XSLT mechanisms and listeners.

Containers thus remain permanently synchronised with source data, while integrating naturally with existing workflows.

PM publication: a new, more intuitive HTML view

ADAM Manager introduces a new HTML Web Light publishing mode for PMs.

This mode allows you to view a PM in HTML while retaining a complete tree view, facilitating navigation and consultation, particularly in web or wider distribution contexts.

Saved searches: a simplified experience

The management of saved searches has been redesigned to be more intuitive:

♦ Clear recording: source, title, description, visibility

♦ Centralised access via a side panel

♦ Direct execution with instant display of corresponding DMs

Result: A real time-saver for users who regularly handle complex data sets.

Better visibility of developments in SMEs

The PM Tree component has been enhanced to better reflect changes:

  • icons for additions and moves,

  • clearly identified deleted DMs,

  • directly visible applicability information.

Deleted DMs appear crossed out in the tree structure, while non-applicable DMs appear greyed out.

At the same time, the applicability assertion creation wizard has been completely redesigned for a more fluid and guided user experience.

Simplified copy of user rights

ADAM Manager includes a new feature that allows you to copy access rights (domains and projects) from one user to another, directly from the GUI or via Web Service.
Available when creating or modifying a user, it facilitates profile administration and speeds up onboarding while limiting configuration errors.

Jobs and automation: moving faster, safely

Automatic updating of links between ICN and DM

When creating a new version of a media file, ADAM Manager now allows you to automatically update all DMs that reference it.
This update can also be triggered directly from one or more DMs.
A dedicated job analyses the selected DMs or media files in order to identify and update only the relevant links, thus ensuring consistency of references.

ADAM Manager introduces a new job for multiple DM duplication.
When launched, a window allows you to define the fields to be modified and their values for the duplicated DMs.
The process is carried out in two stages: an analysis phase checks the feasibility of the duplication, followed by an execution phase that creates the new DMs securely.

The Orphans job has been upgraded to further improve the processing of orphaned DMs.
After an analysis phase confirming the orphan status of the selected DMs, a modification phase now allows them to be automatically deleted while clearly identifying them in the interface.
This upgrade facilitates data cleansing and improves the quality of the repository.

When exporting multiple PMs, ADAM Manager now generates a separate archive for each PM, including all associated files (PM, DM and ICN).

On the import side, a warning message informs the user when the size of a media file exceeds the authorised limit, allowing errors to be anticipated and content to be adjusted if necessary.

APIs and cross-functional improvements

ADAM Manager has been enhanced with:

  • new fields on DM/PM/Media

  • verification of unresolved CIR references in validation jobs

  • integration of embed-type dmRef links in simple export, export bundle, publish and preview jobs

  • new buttons in the ‘Help’ section for quicker and easier access to the application’s swagger

  • new web services: automate the migration of key data (templates, system structures, metadata and applicability rules), as well as container management and DM assignment to users.

In conclusion

With this new version, ADAM Manager reaches a new milestone:

  • greater analytical power,

  • more intelligent automation,

  • and an optimised user experience for all profiles.

An evolution designed to provide long-term support to teams in managing and promoting their technical content.
